Hi Adorable Little Fellow!
Allow me to introduce myself: I am your GREAT - and I do mean GREAT Aunt Bee! I just turned 70 years old myself, and here I am looking at you - almost 1! I find myself smiling at the thought of you smiling at your Mom and Dad - - - somehow knowing that you are safe and sound - even though I read how you have put them through quite a few paces. Well now, that can only be attributed to the fact that you have some powerful Ory blood in you! That's my blood, as well as your Grandpa's. We both grew up in Louisiana on a beautiful old plantation - Oak Alley - to be precise - and had to work very hard just to survive day to day it seemed at the time. Yes, we both struggled through our growing years, and we still came out on top - - - you see, Gerard, CREAM ALWAYS RISES TO THE TOP! And these are some of the genes you will carry on for me and for us all. I am so very proud to be your relative, as tiny as you are right now, but I have great hopes for you in your future endeavors. You have some very caring parents. Oh, and don't forget your Aunt Angela, your Mom's younger sister - - - she is also very special. I will write again soon, and maybe I can tell you a few things about your beautiful grandmother, Grandma Lorraine!
I love you, little one. Good night, God bless you, and sleep tight. (These last words are the ones that my mother - your great grandmother taught me, and that I also taught my own children. I choose to give them to you as a legacy of spirituality that you will have to cling to.) XXOO
